What This Tool Checks
Each test reports whether it found a pattern and how confident it is. Treat the results as signals to look into, not a verdict.

Visible watermarks

Matches the image against watermark templates from major stock agencies, and looks for the edges and transparent overlays a visible watermark leaves.

Text overlays

Looks for semi-transparent text across the image, like the watermark text on stock photo previews.

Hidden-mark patterns

Looks for statistical oddities in pixel values and frequency patterns (LSB, DCT and DWT analysis). It flags unusual pixel patterns that can indicate hidden marks; this is not proof of a watermark. Compression, fine textures and edits can cause the same patterns.

What it can't tell you
